Twitter invasion

I'm a dork and signed up for Twittenesis to post my tweets here. The service can put them behind a cut so you don't have to read them if you don't want to. It's mostly been stuff with the nanowrimo hashtag lately, but I've been tweeting so why not repost?

Okay, other than those many valid reasons, why not repost? I did choose the option of putting them behind a cut and there aren't that many of them (if I ever start tweeting what I eat for lunch every day please shoot me). And I promise that they won't be the only things I post here.

In local news, it looks like we might actually have a white Christmas this year. For those of you who don't live in Virginia, this NEVER happens. Almost never. I think there have been two or three in my lifetime so far and I'm, um, no longer a kid.

I should be in bed by now but I have way too much energy so I'm going back to Inhuman. The first rounds of revision are going well, I think. And I still continue to be be surprised by how not-awful the first draft is. I went from thinking that I would never be able to write 50,000 words in a month, to thinking that I would never be able to write anything even worth revising in a month, to thinking that maybe, just maybe, I can write worth half a damn. Let's see how I feel after I finish the next round of revisions. I may be pleasantly surprised, but this book is nowhere near good enough to allow anyone else to read it yet.

I'll let you know. I haven't seen the first post yet - that should be overnight tonight. Someone else on my flist has been using them.

Hey, I've had a few days with twittinesis now with no issues. It seems to be a good service.

If you are logged into your Twitter account it will grab onto that automatically which makes it really simple to sign up. It offers the options of leaving out your @ responses and putting everything behind a cut, but those seem to be the only options. Honestly, I can't think of anything else for them to offer other than custom icon choice.

Even when I spent it in Virginia, I've never had a white Christmas. even Charlotte is going to be white....
