Nov. 5th, 2010

I broke 10,000 - I'm up to 10,525 words now. I'm still over 2000 words a day, but I haven't begun the writing for tonight yet, even though I've already spent an hour and a half on this. My day is complicated because I start it at midnight. I'm glad that I haven't been working long so far tonight.

I am pissed over Keith Olbermann's suspension, and I don't know if I should be pissed at him or his bosses or both. In any case, I really hope he's back on the air soon. Grrr. I like my liberal snark dose every day.

I finally uploaded some of the rally pictures. This is my favorite one:

Picture and Keith Olbermann
Good picture! You must have been really close and/or you must have a good camera.

I don't know what to make of the Keith Olbermann thing. I'm assuming that he knows all of the following things:
  • Campaign contributions are a matter of public record.
  • Someone was bound to notice his name in those records.
  • He's not allowed to donate to a campaign without permission from management.

I'm wondering if he did it for one of these reasons:
  • To protest the rule
  • To get out of his contract

We'll see what happens, I guess.

Re: Picture and Keith Olbermann
It's a combination of a good location and a good camera.

And taking enough pictures that I was lucky enough to get the shot.

Right now, I'm just hoping that Olbermann is back on the air again soon. The whole thing's a damn mess.

Now that is one awesome picture.

I hear Maddow has been talking about how the Olbermann thing highlights the difference between Fox and MSNBC, and I'm inclined to agree with her on that. Though I do hope Olbermann's back soon.
