Just to prove that I'm completely insane, I'm still working on The Book, and my goal is to bring that to 50,000 words by the end of November, too. Right now, the word count on that is 22,657. I care about the quality of The Book a lot more (likely the main reason why it's still so small) and I'm hoping the nature of doing Nanowrimo will help me get moving more quickly. Or maybe I'm just nuts. I can work with either one, I think. I hope.

Wish me luck!

creepily slinking over from the b&n community (love your username). my heart stopped a little when i saw the address, thinking, "doesn't she know that's a real zip code?" used to live in 22192. ;)

anyway, good luck! i'm trying nano (again) this year too, trying not to think TOO much about my idea because i can't seem to stop myself from writing if my brain's on it... can't wait for monday!

Hey there! And good luck with NaNoWriMo! This is the first time I've ever had the courage to try it. And I was nerdy enough to check if the zip code was in use - mine's 22901, so I figured there was a good chance I would have heard of it if it was in use. Come to think of it, I never Googled Freeheart to see if it was real. I hope not...

And thanks for the compliment - I don't think anyone has ever complimented my username before. I like yours too, by the way. And good luck to you, too!
